Finally the wedding bells…

I’ve always been a big dreamer and have always believed in them… why shouldn’t I, I’ve seen them coming true by my open eyes…

5 and a half years back, on 20 Dec 2000, when we started seeing each other, like any other couple we were not very sure about our relationship, there was excitement, fun, thrill, laughter, tears, fights, quarrels, pampering and loads of love… and ofcourse satisfaction of being with each other…

It was always a long-distance relationship… that I strongly believe are the most tough to live by…

We dreamt for this day… we prayed for this day… we fought for this day… and we lived for this day…

And the day has finally arrived… 27 May 2006, two lovebirds tying the beautiful knot of marriage…

Today I’m short of words to express my gratitude towards all those beautiful people… who made this celebration possible. My parents ofcourse who stood by my decision, my grand parents and relatives who morally boasted our confidence and executed the proceedings to perfection, her mom & her grand mom who always believed that we are made for each other and those ‘special-sweet’ friends who were always there praying for us, supporting us and helping us in making this dream come true.

Undoubtly the biggest and happiest moment of my life…and here is a dedication frome me:

Chupae rakha tha jise zamane se
Aaj charcha zamane mey usi ki hain

Kaid rakhi thi jo kahani is dil mey
Aaj dastaan har zubaan par usi ki hain

Naam jise badnaami ke dar se
band rakha tha mere hothon ne
Aaj naam jaise mera dekar
gunj kaano mey usi ki hain

Meri mohabbat jo kal tak
simat jaati thi meri aankhon mey
Aaj zikr hotey hi muskaan
merey hothon par usi ki hain

Khawab jo kal tak panah lete the
hum dono ki yaadon mey
Aaj panah zindagi ko usi ki hain

Judai jisne juda rakha tha milan ko
aaj ho rahi hain jo judai woh usi ki hain
(arthat: judai ki judai ho rahi hain)

Zikr jiska kal tak karte the hum aksar
baj rahi hain jo shehnai aaj usi ki hain

Dua mangi thi jiski kal tak har mandir mey
mili hain aaj jo puneet archana zindagi ko
woh usi ki hain

(I wanted this post to appear on 27May, so that whenever I go thru my achieves I don’t see 27 May blank… and thanks to st000nie for publishing this post on my behalf, coz I don’t know how long I’ll take to be back on this virtual world)

I missed writing on these...

I had so many topics to blog on but unfortunately felt short of time… I should have made a list of topics missed… Few of them, which were always on the back of my mind…

Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai was in news for weeks… not because of the models but coz of the deliberate stripping … I feel it was deliberate… difference of opinion always exist. For that week it felt as if nothing was happening in Mumbai otherthan people discussing about the stripping… great publicity… purpose served… mission stripped ;-)

Himesh Reshammiya 'Phenomenon' has rocked the country…every second song on FM is of Himesh Bhai… tune to any music channel… and you will find a beard guy wearing a t-shirt, jeans, jacket, and cap… that’s Himesh Reshammiya … His songs are awesome…and his music is completely rocking...
The latest track from 36 China town … aa aa aashiqui mey teri is mind blowing…
He writes 3 new songs every day… amazing mannn…
Two groups exist... one who are big fans of Himesh Reshammiya and others who hate him... but the fact is 'you can love him…you can hate him… but you can’t ignore him…'

Cricketers getting tired by what they call as excessive playing of cricket… and seniors players debating over the fitness issue. Cricket doesn’t require the stamina one needs to play tennis or soccer… 7 hr game with 4 drinks break and one lunch break… and considering the consistency of our team one player plays well only once in 5 match, rest of the time he relaxes in dressing room… now that’s the discounting factor ;-) what more do they need…

Salman Khan getting one-year jail sentence for killing the blackbuck four years back… by this time that blackbuck would have died the natural death… I don’t like Salmaan but we can have a comedy serial based on our law judgments… people go unharmed after killing humans and just because he is a public figure he is excessively penalized… had he been given sentence for running over those poor people on street, it could fit into some logic but that verdict is still pending…like many other cases of murders which go unattended for years…

Sachin Tendulkar signs a contract of 180 Crores… now this seems to be bothering a lot of people… news channel (whose analysis is equivalent to an attempt by a 5th class student to solve Trigonometry problem… yes-complete crap) tried to portray that although Sachin is not scoring run but is ending up winning big contracts… SO WHAT… what is their problem??? He has got every right to earn his living the way he wants… like the way news channels do to run their show 24x7…

That’s all from me…shoot up your views…
