Last Post of this Year :-)

Thanks to all of you for sharing your special moments… lemme share with you some of the moments which I would love to relive… without changing anything :-)>

Some moments…

:-) Those continuous hours of my non-stop playing of Cricket…
:-) Those “never-ending” lectures from mom and dad to study…
:-) Those every day fights with my sis…
:-) All my Vacations (Specially the one after 10th Boards)
:-) My two years of Junior College…we just ruled… and I got some of my best friends during this period…
:-) The flash of a moment when I proposed her… the hug we shared after that is worth my life
:-) All those clandestine meet… I can have a separate Blog for that…
:-) The day I cleared my CA… that was a dream come true…

Coming to 2005…
There are a lot of moments I wud like to re-live…

Time spent with some of my very close friends… who got married this year and went abroad…

A week out with GF… (& other friends)… which was probably the best time I had so far…

I got introduced to Blog world this year… some time in mid-feb… and Blogworld gave me a lot of sweet friends… would love to re-live those small small moments I enjoyed on blogworld… teasing… flirting… debating… and learning so much…

This was definitely the best thing to happen… and I thank all my Blog pals for making my world a better place to live in…

Today is the last day of the year 2005… and yes … yet another year… yet another year closer to my dreams… and yet another year wherein I fulfilled some of my dreams…

Aur haan ye silsila to chalta rahega
Ankhain khawb dekhengi
Aur waqt ussey pura karta rahega

Kuch khwab adhure bhi reh gaye to koi gam nahin
Kuch palo ke liye ankhon se ashr bahe to koi gam nahin
Ye zindagi hain… yehan khawb bhi tut-te hain aur dil bhi
Hum umeed par jee rahe hain… ye kya kam nahin

Ankhain fir bhi khawb dekhengi
Dil fir bhi mohabatt karega…
Hothon par muskurahat rahegi
Aur mujh main wohin jasba… wohin junun rahega

Good bye 2005… and thanks to those memories… and those hopes… which you gave me while passing by…

Love you all… and wishing you all the very best

May all your dreams come true…

Re-Live... Will U ???

I had written this as a part of my previous post... but in the initial few comments I realised that it was getting ignored... so I edited and thought of putting it as a new post...

Hope it doesn't get ignored now :-)

In few days…we will say good bye to this year 2005 and will be looking forward to the year 2006 with hope in our eyes and love in our heart… like me most of us have a habit of pausing for a moment and thinking how the year went… and we recall all the moments that made us smile… n made us cry…

I would like you to look back a bit more before and share… if you are given an opportunity to “re-live” some moment(s) of your life… what it would be… it could be anything which you feel is worth living again… (But of course u can’t change anything)…

So wanna flashback… and replay… what would you???

Jingle bells... jingle bells... Jingle all the way...

The festive mood is back… and yet again my office created the same magic it did during Diwali…
And my cell got lots of pic to capture… and I love sharing them with you all guyz…

The Christmas tree of our office… right in front of reception…

This was just the start… the dress code for today was anything in “Red”… “Green”… or “White”… and we had a colourful crowd all around…

Trust me guyz…. (Especially z000nie boy) you would have loved to watch the babez…
Mind blowing dresses… they were looking so damn pretty n smart… that my crush counter crashed ;-)

There was a competition of “best decorated workstation”… No wonder I didn’t participated… ;-)… it’s so tough for me ;-)… I was thinking if my Mom will keep that competition at home… of best room and if I’m the only participant… still I’ll loose ;-)

This workstation should have won… It was just awesome…

But we concluded… the more decorated the workstation is… the less work they have ;-) and they can’t be bloggers also ;-)

Our Canteen guy had kept special Christmas offer… Unlimited lunch for Rs.35/- (Normal rates are 25/-). And all of us freaked out completely… specially on Plum cakes…

Then we also had a Santa… yeeee…

and he went around the entire office with a whole gang… throwing chocolates… it was so much fun

And how can we celebrate Christmas without Christmas carols…

all were gathered in Canteen and then we had a rolling time…singing… chanting… clapping

The employees were requested to voluntary donate clothes and toys… which will be given to a charity to distribute amongst the less privileged kids.

I wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.

God Bless U

They say its illegal…

They spent their hard earned money to buy that house…

They stayed there for years…
Without any single objection from anyone

When the building was constructed
They paid Stamp Duty to the Government
And got the flat registered under one of the prevailing Acts of Govt.

Till years they must be paying
Electricity bill… Municipal tax to the government…
(Which are also considered as an address proof)

And now after years some “High Court” has given a Notice to demolish some 850 buildings…

This happened first in a place near Mumbai called “Ulhasnagar”… (“Mid Day Article”)
then yesterday I heard about a similar incident happening in Delhi… and today I heard on radio that some notices are sent to some places in Mumbai…

Now this is really a cause for worry…

Buildings can’t be constructed overnight… without any support from government authorities (including local police)

Imagine the number of family that would be homeless… on roads just because of some bureaucrats who must have filled their never fulfilling lure with green bucks and of course the builders who are a breed whom one cant ever trust…

The most unfortunate part is… the common man is getting the axe… why only he should suffer… how can those bureaucrats who would have cleared those plans can go untouched… and the builders… why should they sleep peacefully…

Why shouldn’t the effected families be given a proper compensation atleast?

Too add to the mess, when few months back, Mumbai municipal corporation decided to clean away the slum areas... who have also illegally occupied those places and are equally unauthorised... Sonia Gandhi stopped the act of muncipal authorities... what is she doing now... busy with her Christmas celebrations???

In a city like Mumbai… it takes a man’s entire life to own a house of his own… so that atleast his generation could live in peace and here the government is talking about taking the shelter from thousands without even considering their grief.

What kind of democracy we claim to live in???

And they bitch so easily

Disclaimer: (Strictly reader’s discretion required for reading this post… nothing personal for anyone… just my personal opinion… and whatever interpretation I could draw from my experience with so many sweet n cute female friendz)

This is the tale of my college times… we had a fantastic group of 18 teen freaks… two of the prettiest girls… always had some cold clashing… and soon it was so very evident… and we guys had a difficult time keeping both of them together… specially me and my best pal…
More than anything else both of them used to observe as to how much time we are with their so-called “rival”… and almost every time we used to hear comments like…

“Roam with her only na”
“When shez around u don’t even care for me”
“Next time… I’ll not meet you only”
“Ok… me not bitching but u make sure u are with me”

(am sure u all must have got the tone)

So my pal and me used to divide the time… first I’ll be with one and he with the other and then vice versa…
Why only me and my pal coz… we were close friends of both of them…

Still they used to complain…

And the best thing now… when both of them will talk… no one on the earth can guess that they bitch so much about each other… million dollar smiles… a big hiiiiiii… how are u… n a even bigger hugg….
And we used be like grrrrrr…

And the moment they separate, they start it all over again…

Later on I realized this is not something that is exceptional…

I mean guyz do bitch… don’t deny that… but not as a hobby or pastime…
(I’m wearing a helmet now ;-)

This was not the only case… when I was in Nagpur… I had a very good friend… she was one of the most beautiful girl of our batch… and I was only better when I was younger ;-) lolzzz

My other female friends used to envy her from the bottom of their heart… & never missed on passing some or the other indirect comments…

Then I started taking this as a part of their nature ;-)

When I entered the corporate world… and made friends … things were still the same… after all girls are same everywhere… (I mean they are pretty n beautiful ;-))

In one of my ex-office a friend of mine directly told me…

She: I dun like “her” and especially when she always try to get close with you…
Me: Excuse me… we are just friends… and I know her even before you…
She: I know… but since now we are very good friends… I told this to you…

So plain and so simple… I got her point that next time when both of them are together… then all my doings will be under microscope… and next day again some bitching ;-)

Am sure all girls are not like this…

Some enjoy bitching more than anything else in life ;-)

Ooops… what am I saying… I mean…

Some don’t bitch so openly…

Gosh… what am I typing now…

Some don’t bitch at all…
(Finally… I got it… its so tough to tell a lie)

Oh god… I can see that red eyes… mez going underground… few more days of audit left…so lemme me under invisible mode… already lots of hot n red happenings on this blog world…

Ok Ok… lemme not be so biased…

Guys also do that…

Oooh

Do they…

Yes of course…

Lemme hear from U ;-)

F.. R.. I.. E.. N.. D.. S..

Last few weekends were a bit silent ones… I actually didn’t got much time to spend with my friends… and some meet ups were long over due… may be God thought of setting off the accounts this weekend… so that there is no backload in his books ;-)

The weekend took off on Fri Eve… meeting friends… my ex-office friends… first time we partied after my change of job… and in no time the memories were back… and we were having a rolling time… it was a pretty cool place… nice food… live music… and good looking chicks… but this time no flirting at restaurant ;-) (Just some glance)

My ex-boss made a short visit of Mumbai… he is in Tanzania… and he had lots n lots of stories to share… about the work life… night life there… and African chicks…. Wow… am thinking of giving a try on Africa too ;-)… chicks from that continent are unexplored ;-) lolzzz

It was mid night by the time we said good bye… and I was on roads… enjoying my ride with my sweetheart… I mean my sweetheart bike…

The next day… very unexpectedly and on short notice… some of Blog pals from Mumbai met… Since Kiran already came up with a post on this… (Rendezvous) ... lemme sum it up that we had great fun…

But that was not all… after meeting my blog pals… I met couple of my colony friendz and we freaked out… I was at home like a good boy @ 8.30PM… first question my mom asked was… “Are u gonna have dinner”… and I like obedient son replied… “ofcourse mom”… after 5 min my cell rings and this time it’s the turn of my guy friendz…. “Where are u… come down to “some xyz” bar”…
Googly…

Puneet… the obedient son…n a loving friend… is in trouble now…

I finally told my friendz to go ahead and I would join them after dinner…

I was online that time… and Nitika came online… soon after that st000nie & Divya came… needless to say… I was having complete fun :-)…
And by the time I got a warning call from my friend… an hour had passed… I rushed up with my dinner and joined my friends at 11:00… (Told my mom…am going for a walk in the colony… obedient boy… u see ;-))

5 of us… had a gala time… surprisingly only 2 were having alcohol… and as u know I was not one of the two… my best pal
(Meet my best pal) had lost all his conscious… he was completely drunk… and was behaving crazy… we were laughing our hearts out… and then to make sure that he doesn’t miss the fun… I video recorded some of his weird acts on my cell… am his prank partner… can’t miss the opportunity to embarrass him ;-)…
I was home by 1:30… silently opening the door… n locking it from inside… softly entering my room…n going off to bed…as a very good boy ;-)

Sunday… the temple visiting day… ok… for the ones who don’t know… temple means multiplex… n temple-visit means… movie watching…

We guyz went for “Ek Ajnabi” (a complete copy of “Man on Fire”)… good movie… but far below the original… the ones who have watched “Man on Fire” might not enjoy “Ek Ajnabi” that much…

Since we love our temples so much… a back to back movie was thought of… some of our friendz who couldn’t join us were again called… some calls exchange… some confusion… whether to go for a movie or a fare… some more confusion… finally all plans cancelled…n we all gathered at a friendz house…no one at her place…

Her mom was going out for a “pravachan” (religious discourses)… she said u guys should also attend such things… I replied… aunty we do… its just that we call it “Movie” ;-)… lolzzz
Aunty was like… “U are never gonna change ;-)”

Then we had all the privacy to chill out… we are more of a family then friendz… girls did the honor of cooking Maggie noodles and after that we all relaxed… bitched… pulling legs… played games… and not to miss I showed all the video clipping of my best pal… who himself couldn’t believe what was he upto… poor he… and mean me ;-)

Friendz… yes… my entire weekend went with them and I had a rocking time… when it comes to friendz I feel so proud and lucky… coz I know I have got loads…n I’ve got the best ;-)

Your Love or Your Friendship

I’m too scared if I’ll propose her and she doesn’t accept… then I will loose a good friend…
I don’t know yaar she is a very good friend… I don’t know if I should confess my feelings… dun wanna loose her at any cost
I’m happy being a friend of her for life… atleast she won’t think wrong about me…

And sometimes…

She is my best friend… and I can’t think about her in that way…
Are you crazy we are just best of friends… its just that we love to be with each other but that doesn’t mean anything else…

How many times such thoughts have crossed your mind…

Remember those teenage days… when love used to be in air… that tender age… that indecisive nature…

chupake chupake raat din aa.Nsuu bahanaa yaad hai ham ko
ab tak aashiqii kaa wo zamaanaa yaad hai humko
- Hasrat Mohani

Sometimes we do have strong feelings for our closest friend and are scared to disclose coz we fear that the sweet friendship will no more be sweet…

But is it fair to hold your feelings… and how long can you hold such feelings… your friend would sense it sooner or later… so why not put things across the table and solve… but easier said than done…

Is it so easy to decide when one is standing at a junction where he can see two roads… one is very clear… the extension of the road he is traveling on… the friendship one… and other is the diversion where he needs to go through a love check point… he doesn’t know where the road will lead to… what’s the end… but surely the more desired one ;-)

And most of the time its because we are so insecure we don’t dare to take that risk…
But are you doing justice to your friendship by hiding it…

Can you still have the same friendship with a your friend on knowing his/her feelings for you???

Sometimes the situation is reversed… you know that your friend has feelings for you but its not coming out in open… I feel that is even tougher to deal with…
Unfortunately relationships are not as simple as Maths… where all the equations have to balance… sometimes there are so many unbalanced equations but still they make sense and give u some result…

For a love relationship one needs to have that element of romance… that spark… which need not be there in friendship…

As a lot of people say… if you want her… be her best friend… I dun believe in that… if you have any feelings for the other person… keep giving her/him hints…indications of your feelings… else you will try to race for the slot of best friend… and you might reach there… but someone else will walk away with her…
That’s not bad… but that’s not what you wanted…
Its not just being his/her best friend but also igniting that spark of romance…

I’ve been in both the situations… I don’t know the way I tackled it was the best way or the correct way, or smooth enough… but I still feel its one of the most difficult decision to make…
I was going thru my diary and found one poem in which I had expressed my dilemma regarding love or friendship... and thats what made me blog this... As I was writing this some old memories flashed... and ofcourse came along was a smile.

Some light moments…

Last few weeks were a bit busy for me… there were some light moments that made me laugh… and still when I think about it a smile comes on my face…

1. One of my friends’ cousin have joined my company, few days back my friend messaged me and asked for my designation, department and contact number… I happily gave him all the required info… immediately after that he messaged me…
“ Don’t flirt with my sister. You are already engaged, otherwise you had it… that too from 3 people- me, my cousin and your GF… and I’ll make sure that Prani (My sis) is also on our side”.
And I went off laughing reading that… good to know the reputation that I carry ;-)

2. When I met my GF I told her that two of my Blog friends… one from Norway and one from Australia (Strawy n Keshu) are planning to come for our wedding (whenever) with couple or more of kids claiming that I’m the Dad of all ;-)…
She went off laughing… and then said… "it is not at all impossible… you cant be trusted on this matter…" I had no words after that…

3.
My youngest and sweetest cousin was celebrating his 9th birthday and I called him in the evening…
Me: Happy B’day beta… howz ur birthday going…
He innocently replied
“abhi chalu nahin hua… 7 baje chalu hoga…”
(It’s not started yet… it will start at 7 ;-)
(Coz the party was at 7)…
Then he told me…
“Bhaiya come down here for my b’day”…
(He stays in Nagpur)
Me: Ohhh mera bacha, I’m in office na… how can I come…
He: I know there is a flight in the evening… u board that and come…
(That was so sweet)
He is the youngest and I’m the eldest… and he was with me since he was 5 months old … so I’m always biased towards him… and rest all my cousins envy him for that.

4. I was on chat with one of my Blog friend… she saw my profile pic on Yahoo and said… "here you look like a “mumma’s child” unlike the pic on your Blog…" I was like… ok ok… will change the pic on my blog… she immediately replied… don’t… rather change the pic on Yahoo ;-) lolzzz so sweet…

5. One Friday I reached home around 8.00-8.30 and my Mom was surprised to see me… she immediately said… how come you are so early on Friday evening… No movies ;-)… lolsss (purey reputation ki waat lagi hui hain ;-))
On Sunday if I’m at home till afternoon then my dad will say… not going to temple today… (By temple he refers to multiplex, which I religiously visit on every Sunday ;-))

These were some sweet moments which filled my days with smiles… although very small but very sweet…

Would you like to share some of yours small n sweet moments…
