If anything can go wrong, it will

Have you ever wondered how does it feel when…

qYou working for an hour on PC with unsaved data and PC hangs off.

qYou are late and by the time you reach the bus stop you see the direct bus to your office passing by… with enough place to rest your ass.

qYou are talking to your friend for an hour and the next day u come to know that it was his/her birthday the previous day.

qYou are late on a date and tyre of your bike/car gets punctured.

qYou are on your way for the interview and a passing vehicle splashes water over your dress.

qImportant meeting in the morning and the alarm clock doesn’t wakes you up…

qAfter a break-off u visit a pub/disc to booze and see your ex enjoying with someone else.

qYou get the opportunity to watch porn movie at home… all alone, n some unavoidable guest comes in.

qCrucial over of Cricket Match and the cable connection goes away.

qMeeting is on with the top shots… pin drop silence and you fart.

qAlmost nearing to kiss him/her for the first time and the cell phone rings.

qSitting in a loo and water goes off… no tissues too.

qThe “newspaper aunty” of your locality sees u going on a bike with your BF/GF… and passes a sweet sarcastic smile.

qThe hottest chick of your office is passing by and you hold your breath to hide the tummy… and the chick says relax… I’ve seen u sitting.

qYou have a planned a trip meet to your BF/GF in other city and bad weather screws up the communication link…the plan is cancelled at the last hour.

qAfter a busy day your GF/BF calls you in the eve and the battery of cell phone ditches you.

qYou are on your way to pick up your BF/GF from the Airport/Railway station and the traffic is heavily screwed up.

qYou are blogging the new post during office hours & your boss is watching you standing behind...
(I just checked no one is here ;-))

qAfter a tiring day you decide to Blog hop and get relaxed only to find some guy like Puneet make u feel all the more miserable with such bizarre post…

Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse

Peace out guys… yesterday while working on my PC my leg by mistakenly switched off the power supply… and that’s what made me post this…

Would love to hear more such stuff from you…

so rock on…

We are so different yet so similar…

Some days back I saw Salam Namastee… it was a good movie… but I’m not giving any review about the movie… but there are certain things which I kept thinking about… would like to share some of those…

In many Hindi movies, for love to grow couples need to have same food taste, same ice cream flavour, same colour choice, liking the same sport, n all such scrap… but in Salam Namastee things were different… it reminded me of my relationship with my GF…

There are a hell lot of things where we differ…

She likes spicy food… I don’t
I’m a Sweet freak… she HATES sweets…
She is quite diet conscious... I give a damn
I don’t like PaniPuri… She can’t live without it

Her Fav soft drink is Thumps up… Mine is Sprite
Her Fav fruit is Grappes… Mine is Pineapple

If she buys for me… she ends up picking some shade of White
Whereas me buying for self end up picking up some shade of Blue

She loves to walk… I hate it
She loves hill stations… I love beaches
She like snakes… I’m dead scared of them
She is scared of cats… I love playing with them

She knows all my favorites…
I had to SMS her and check some of hers

She never liked guys who were surrounded by girlz…
I’m a kind of guy who has got max female friends…

She rips apart a guy… who tries to flirt around with her
…flirting is my nature ;-)

She has done a diploma in fashion designing
I’m pathetic with dress sense…

Playing with financial numbers is my profession…
She is too shy to bargain even for prices for her services
...
...
...

I’m sure there would some more points to add to this list…

But it doesn’t make a difference to us… coz we have naturally got so used to each other and we can’t see any difference unless someone points it out…

And we love to fight with each other… actually if we don’t fight we do not feel comfortable… since years both of us have been the same… just that every fight has brought us more closer and we cant live without it…

And since we both feel that we have found that one person we would love to annoy for the rest of our lives we had given a serious consent and go ahead to our relationship…
But then that’s my life… would you like to share your thoughts….

Do you feel such pity things like, same colour, food, ice cream taste matters…
Does it matters how similar your liking is or is that… opposites attract…

What would be the selecting/deciding factor(s) you would see in this so-called closest relationship???

A day off… what a relief

The second half of the year accounts for a large number of festive holidays in India… yesterday was one such day… on account of Dassera we had an off… I had planned my day somewhat like this…
Washing my Bike
Finishing the book I’ve started reading a week back
Blogging
Going thru my Induction booklet
Clearing the mess in my shelf
Arranging my bank statements & credit card statements
Meeting friends in the eve

And this is what I actually did…
Washed my bike
Blogged
Blogged
Blogged
Blogged
Blogged
Met my friends in the eve

I tried to catch up with most of my friend’s Blog… and ended up spending the whole day in blogging ;-)… NO REGRETS… it was worth :-)>

In the eve I and my friends went to watch the “Burning of Ravan”…
Dassera (or Vijayadashmi)… is a symbol of victory of good over evil…infact this festival is celebrated in a different way, by a different name in different parts of the country…. A lot of mythological stories are linked to it…

And this is how we celebrate it in our colony…….

The “Ram Rath”…
An artificial chariot which takes a whole round of the colony… some kids are dressed up like Ram, Laxman, Sita, Hanuman….

That’s the effigy of Ravan… which is burnt on Dassera to depict victory of Lord Ram over Ravan…

Those are some fireworks which I tried to capture from my cell camera… it looks awesome in real… just fantastic…

And finally Ravan is burnt… traditionally some Puja is done before the burning of Ravan…

The main attraction is the fireworks which is simply awesome… 30-45 minutes of non-stop fireworks…. I also did some video recording…

Tomorrow is Friday and then the weekend… me having a great time….
Will catch up with you all during the weekend…

Cheers

Jaadu Hain Nasha Hain…

Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai Madhoshiyan Hai
Tujhko Bhulake Aab Jaao Kahan
Dekhti Hai Jis Tarah Se Teri Nazrein Mujhe
Main Khud Ko Chupaao Kahan

I’m sure my pals from India would know the voice behind this sensuous song… a sweet… cute and very young girl… who is extremely talented… and already a superstar… yes I’m talking about Shreya Ghoshal

Now what made me blog about her... two reasons…

Firstly, she is from my colony and secondly on Friday eve I saw her live musical concert.
I rushed from my office and reached the colony well in time... but the hall was packed and no place to sit…

As usual the show started with some introduction and the uncle who gave the introduction was completely hopeless… we were waiting when he will finish off with his (supposed to be) brief speech… whole biography of Shreya was told by him… good that she is only 22 else he would have easily taken an hour to complete the speech.

Then the lights went off and the music started… all eyes were desperately looking for Shreya… but someone called Ayub Patel started the show… he sang two songs but the audience were least bothered… all were so impatient to see the girl of the colony…

Then after a brief silence the song starts…
“Silsila ye Chahat ka na maine bujhne diya”…
and Shreya appears on stage… whistles… clapping… cheering her up… gosh… the whole atmosphere got charged up….

The song was followed by two romantic numbers…
“Waada Raha…Pyar se Pyaar ka” (From Khakhee)
“Agar Tum Mil Jao.. (From Zeher)

and
I fell in love with her voice… awesome… she sings awesome… and the way she was managing the stage was too good… very smartly using English, Hindi and Bangla to make sure that she keeps everyone happy…

Next to come was a very sweet parody of some sweet old songs…
On Durga Puja how she would have done injustice to the Bengali crowd… and she sang 3 Bengali songs in a row… I don’t remember the lyrics but the songs were very melodious and if she is singing I can listen to her irrespective of the language…

“Kangana re kangana re Kirnon se sab rangana re” (from Paheli)
was next to follow… I was already wondering there are so many hit numbers in her kit…

After a short break she came back with some super hit catchy numbers…
Much awaited “Jaadu hain naasha hain”…rocked the floor…which actually did Jaadu (magic) on all…

Ears and heart were having a treat…and with "Piyu bole piya bole" (from Parineeta) one could easily appreciate the variety she was offering…

Right from 8PM I with my friends were standing and watching…and there were hundreds of people standing… and very calmly enjoying the show…

As the show was concluding she picked up the fast numbers…

With songs like…
“Mujhe Tumse Mohabatt hain… Dewwangi ki hadd tak”
“Tumhein jo maine dekha, tumhein jo maine jaana ”
“Gori gori, gori gori, gori gori… from MHN”
the atmosphere was rocking…

and then she concluded the show with one of the super hit song of Devdas…
“Dhola re Dhola re Dhola re Dhola”….

It was bliss… a right kick start to the Friday eve…

I generally don’t go for musical concerts and all… I prefer stage plays… had it been anyone other than Shreya Ghoshal… I would have easily avoided it... Keep rocking Shreya… it’s just the beginning for you.

My First day and 100th Post…

Today was my first day @ the new office... As usual I kicked my bike and took off the new route, but I think god was either very happy or unhappy... It started pouring cats n dogs... Typical Mumbai rains… the rainy wear also couldn’t stand the fierce drops of rains...and the whole way I was cursing the rains... Why the hell it has to rain now... Can't it rain after 10AM?

By the time I reached office, I was partially drenched… the shirt, trousers n socks and yes my bag and the documents inside too. I entered the office... was so uncomfortable and a bit embarrassed too... What a start that was...

I was waiting for the formalities to be done... In the meanwhile chatting on SMS... watching pretty chicks pass by and feeling yaks about my wet clothes. Soon I started feeling cold... I had nothing interesting to do so I started typing this post on my cell. Ha ha ha ha... Difficult to do away with Blog craze... Laughing at self and saying “Grow up Puneet”...

Soon the initial formalities were completed… and I was introduced to the department I will be working with... some interaction with the people in the team...
Some 15days will go in grooming and induction... I think it’s essential to do away with that feeling of a stranger.

Soon it was lunch time... and wow the canteen is cool… awesome food with enough variety… Price is quite reasonable too…after I had my lunch I glanced thru the 3rd floor window to see the traffic jam on both sides of the road… I was like Gosh… what traffic in the afternoon… the traffic smiled back at me and said…
"Puneet… Welcome back to Andheri ;-)"

Unfortunately no laptop over here… I know that is sad but can’t help... cant get all the benefits. The workstation got installed and other formalities were done too… My mind was preoccupied with a lot of things... a lot of thoughts were running thru my mind...

The positives... the negatives...
Thinking from the micro level sometimes from the macro level..
Gosh... change certainly changes so much...

I was at Dwedy’s blog where she had posted her 100th post. I checked my blog to count the number of my posts… and I found I was at 99… what a co-incidence that was.

So this post completes my century of posts…
and I thank all my blogging pals who shared their thoughts and time with me… completing 100 posts in just over 7 months shows my addiction towards blogging…

The one drawback of Blogging is I have stopped writing diaries… ye that’s really sad… but now with my Blogging activities slowing down... I guess my diary will have some less blank pages ;-)

Here are my top 10 favorites… I had a tough time in selecting top 10…
If you have nothing to do… feeling bored… and tired of seeing the same 100th post for the whole week… you can give a visit to my top favs…
