Eerie Interviews

Disclaimer: The following conversation has nothing to do with my work environment and the places where I’ve appeared for the interview and the people I’ve interacted with during this process… it’s just a weird thought … to be taken in good spirit ;-)

I have been in a process of going for interviews… and on one such day I appeared in 4 interviews…
Gosh suddenly I started realizing my market value ;-)

By the evening I was drenched… I met my friend and she said she would take my interview ;-)… she took my CV and started…

My Friend: Tell me something about yourself
Me: I’m a hardcore blogger…
(Before I could complete)
My Friend: WHAT
Me: I’m a hardcore blogger… never heard about it… visit my URL…@ puneetdreamz.blogspot.com... there you can read a post ... "99 Facts About Me" that should suffice your needs... infact it will be more...

My Friend: Ok...
Me: I started blogging some 6 months back… blogging is something which I love to do and I’m quite serious about making a future in it…
My Friend: Ok… What do u blog?
Me: Any shit that comes to my mind… its same as flashing at interviews… infact better that that… interviewers are the most hopeless persons on earth… they ask absolutely rubbish question…
My Friend: What do you mean by that…
Me: chill down… for example…

Interviewer: Tell me something about yourself
Come on… Why the hell u think I’ve given u my CV

Interviewer: Why you wanna leave the current company?
You think I’m gonna tell u the truth… wont you leave this company if someone else gives u 50% hike next day… a better profile n a better position… grow up guys

Interviewer: Would this profile interest you?
No actually… I didn’t had any timepass… and have seen all the recent movies so thought of appearing for an interview…

Interviewer: What was your work profile… what you did… achievements?
I just used to watch pretty girlz passing by… sometimes passing comments also… blogging ofcourse… that’s my lifeline… used to drink lots of tea n coffee… n other such free stuffs… you moron…. Y I’ve taken the efforts to prepare the CV…

Interviewer: I need some reference check…
Gosh this is ridiculous…. You are not trusting me… who in person is in front of you… but you will trust some “xyz” on phone… that too who will be refereed by me… can you please tell me the logic ;-)

My Friend: Ok… that’s enough… I got it…tell me where you see yourself after 5 years…

Me: After 5 years I would be one experienced blogger… might receive some awards for blogging ;-) my post should draw atleast 250 comments… with around 100 in an hour of posting … a post a day… ya these are my landmarks… I would try to achieve these ;-)


My Friend: Ohh that sounds great… why you wanna leave your job…

Me: I told u na… interviewers are #@#@##@… chill… I mean there is no access to YM in office, no MSN… plus I can’t access my personal mails, no CD room n Pen drive access on my lappy… gosh… what more you wanna hear….

My friend: Oooh that’s really sad… so what do you expect from our company…

Me: a hell lot… it goes without saying 24x7 high speed Internet… YM and MSN those are the pre-requisites… Dell lappy… with all the accessories… my site should be kept as homepage for all the employees… and they should be made to comment atleast once on my every post… the people reporting me should be given targets of achieving those landmarks of 100 and 250 comments… that will be reviewed during their performance appraisal…right now I can recall only this much… rest will let u know

My friend: Ok so what u do other than blogging… I mean other pass times

Me: When I’m not blogging I do work sometime… actually I’m a CA… supposed to be the Business Analyst… yes and on weekends I watch movies...

My friend: Oh that’s exciting…

Me: Ye I told you.. bloggers are so damn exciting… you employ one and you will be forced to employ similar ones;-)

(And then we went laughing like crazy)
Although I’ve added a lot of masala to the conversation…

JUST TO BRING TO UR NOTICE:

There was an article in Mid-Day Mumbai about a lady delivering twins in taxi... (Read - "Mid Day Article" ).... that made me laugh a lot... My post - "Wacky Thoughts: Mumbai roads again" is not far from reality
