Wacky thoughts… Mumbai roads again…
The condition of roads in Mumbai and the traffic have already made me blog a lot…
One day I was driving and a thought clicked my mind… what if this condition prevails…
Imagine a pregnant woman being taken to the hospital and is stuck in the hopeless traffic jam… Kids will be delivered in the traffic…on roads ;-)
Then instead of birth place… birth road will have to provided in all the forms…
And people would like to get stuck near Sidhivinayak, Mahalaxmi, Haji Ali… and soon those places would be considered very auspicious for child birth…
Imagine the probable conversation amongst the kids when they will grow up…
Kiddo1: hey which road u were born on…
Kiddo2: Andheri – Kurla road… gosh how much traffic… even during afternoon there is no relief… maximum number of kids are born on that road…
Kiddo1: That’s true…but I was born on Western Express Highway
Kiddo3: Hey me too on Western Express Highway… on Malad-Goregaon link… u ???
Kiddo1: on Andheri-Santacruz link ;-)
Kiddo2: I was unfortunate to born on the roads…
Kiddo1: what do u mean by that… most of us are born on roads now a days…
Kiddo2: ye… I know… my parents never wanted me to be one of those… they took me to hospital a day before… but thanks to the potholes on the roads… my mom gave me birth a day before ;-)
Kiddo3: I was born in the same place where my parents had s##
Kiddo1&2: What does that mean???
Kiddo3: My parents were on their way to catch the flight for honeymoon… but due to traffic they missed the flight… while coming back home they again got stuck… n they decided to have s## in car to cheer up their disappointment…
Kiddo1&2: Ohhhh
Kiddo3: God damnit… I was born in the same car… were my seeds were sown
;-)
And imagine how would they feel superior considering the vehicle they were born in…
Kiddo1: I was born in AC ambulance of Lilavati Hospital
Kiddo3: ooh… I was born in City Honda…
Kiddo 2 kept quiet
Kiddo1&3: where were u born buddy???
Kiddo 2 still keeping quiet…
Kiddo1&3: come on u can share with friends…
Kiddo 2: I was born in Taxi
;-)
You never know… those could be our kids having such conversation…

ya i too travel by that fucked up road ..andheri -kurla ...y do ppl have to open their office in Andheri .. we have such beautiful offices in nariman point ... sea facing ;) its heaven out there .. am sure no one will deliver a baby there ...lolzzz;) hahahahha
i think i should find a job in pune next as the travelling time for me is the same minimum 2 hrs .. at least the road is better out there ... :))

gosh i had a meeting at saki naka .. n it took almost an hr for me to reach there .. technically its just 10-15mins away from my office....:O
i simply love my ex office (NP).. can u imagine sea facing .... awwwwww ..it was awesome ... good crowd;), no much traffic too ...

Infact my first job was in Andheri-E, and while coming home it used to be so hell crowded that I was all the more motivated to go for a bike... bt now even bikes get stuck for hrs...
