Sarkar: Hats off

Not many people like Ram Gopal Verma or his underworld oriented movies or his kind of experimental movies… I don’t fall in that category coz I love his style of movie making… no latka jhatka, no dialogue baazi… n0 running around bushes…. no abroad sight seeing… direct bang on target… his movies don’t fare good at box office but who cares…

Be it Rangeela, Satya, Junglee, Kaun, Company or Sarkar… I’ve enjoyed them…

His latest release Sarkar is an amazing movie… just 2 hours and complete fun. The movie actually has so less dialogue and the actors have done complete justice to their role. Big B excels -he is just superb. KK another classy actor is not less than perfect, Katrina looks wow and is treat whenever she is onscreen, rest all have done a fantastic job but the show stealer is Abhishek Bachhan. In the second half he out performs his dad… and this is not an overstatement… girls do watch out for him, he will drive you crazy and he is gonna give every actor run for their money now… the black horse has picked up his gear right.

The dialogue I loved the most was when Abhi goes to Swami’s place to seek his revenge…
Swami: “Beta, Bhagwat Geeta main likha hain…” before he could complete, Abhi interrupts and says “Main bhagwan main nahin manta”… oooh in what a style and attitude… his eyes said it all.
I’m eagerly waiting to see him in “DUS”.

The only thing I’ve not liked about RGV’s movie is the climax, but this time he has got everything right in place.

Sarkar is rulling the city.

I also saw thie movie!
Mr Bachhan was really superb! He is doing a great variety of roles these days with such perfection!
Thank god now scripts are written to give him that creative space that was missing earlier!

Though I liked the movie in general but somehow I feel a stagnation has come in Ramoo's works. He has restricted himself with only two subjects mafia & horror/thriller and produces films on these subject with amazing regularity!

I still hope for the day when he will give us something refreshing!

I still

@ deepali... welcome to my blog... so Sarkar made you comment on my blog finally ;-)
Will watch DUS next weekend...
thanx... keep coming

@ manish...agreed totally abt Mr Bachhan... he is such a versatile actor...
coming to RGV...i'm his fan and like his kind of movie making... so i just like watching his movies just like others dont get bored by watching similar love triangle stories... similar love songs around the bushes and similar rona dhona... i dont get bored by his horror or underworld movies...
I knw at times his movies are so pale and dull...but then experiments are not alwayz successfull...
The movies he directs r ne time better than the movies he produces...
Cheers... thanx so much

well Puneet I expect a bit more from Ramu!

From a director who has given such gem of a movie like Satya
one should always expect some variety!

aur mera ishara love triangle ya pedon ki charon or daud bhag dikhane walon mein se nahin tha!:)

For example look at Sanjay Leela Bhansali, from HDDCS , then DEVDAS & now BLACK thats kind of variety one expects from a creative person like RAMU!

I think the era of singing around the tree, mele mein gum hona mil jana has passed ;) :)!
Thx to Multiplex culture people are coming with varied themes to the audience!

@ Unaiza...Zarur dekhiye ga...
after a long time u made a vist... keep coming :-))

@ Manish...ha ha ha agreed...
but u knw he has made a factory... and factory products can't be of showroom quality always... ;-)
truly speaking i felt Devdas was Sick and very horribly made movie... disgrace to Sarat Chandra's story... i loved HDDCS & Black... top class...
The budget in which SLB works, Ramu would be making 10 movies ... all cant be good...
Ya... Thanx to Multiplex audience ;-)
This debate will be never ending... ha ha ha ha...
cheers....:-))

@boldnbeautiful... ya very rightly said... :-))
