My weekend date with Movies

With a track record of watching atleast one movie a week, viewing new released movie on the same week and ever crazy to watch movies… here I present before you my weekend’s date with movies.

Virudh (**1/2)
Friday: 7PM @ Movie Time, Goregaon –
*ing Amitabh, Sharmila Tagore, Sanjay Dutt and John Ibrahim.

At first we planned for this movie for the 5.45 show then cancelled the plan, however again at 6.30 we decided to go for the movie… after a break of one month I saw a movie on the very first day of its release…

The movie is ok for watching once; the first half has been presented nicely. Second half gets a bit filmi and so is the climax, which is the typical Bollywood type. Big B is as usual at his best, and keeps the interest going. Story line can be guessed by watching the trailer, nothing new, a family kind movie.

Dus (***)
Sat: 3:45PM @ Cine Planet, Sion
*ing Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachhan, Suniel Shetty, Zayed Khan, Pankaj Kapur & Misc Actresses

I tried first week, it was houseful, 2nd week I again tried but it was still houseful, 3rd week I tried and I got first row tickets…
I took it smilingly ;-))

The movie is definitely worth a watch, for the awesome background score and title track. Abhishek Bachhan once again rocks… man what an attitude… also Pankaj Kapur lives to his reputation of being one of the finest actor.

Nothing new on story front, a typical bollywood action dhamaka, where 4 leading stars fight the whole gang of bad boys … don’t even try to look for logic, just watch and enjoy… I loved the stunts and acting of all the handsome hunks… I had a good time…

Maine Pyar Kyon Kiya (***)
Saturday: 3:15PM @ Ashish, Chembur –
*ing Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Sohail Khan, Arshad Varsi and Katrina Kaif

The recent controversy over Salman Khan made this movie all the more popular, I tried last week but it was running houseful. I got some horrible reviews about this movie from my friends but still I had enough enthusiasm to watch it and I’m happy I did it.

Leave your brains, worries, tensions, and common sense all at home to enjoy this movie… a complete timepass, full to non-sense comedy… bole to ek dum paisa vasul ;-)

Katrina looks wow but the show stealer is Sushmita Sen she looks hot… especially in that orange Sari.
I was continuously laughing and enjoyed a lot… a typical David Dhawan Movie.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday… 1 movie each, completing my Hat trick… I’m loving it. What a Capacity ;-) … my parents are wondering what I’m upto… actually just catching up with my backlog of watching movies… good to be back on track ;-))
.
.
.
I’ve not finished yet…
I saw couple more on CDs… (and I’m still in my senses)

CON AIR (**1/2)
*ing Nicolas Cage, John Cusack & John Malkovich
Complete action pack Hollywood movie… a typically guys kind. The bad guys have all there plans ready and do everything right till the hero screws up things for them… and with lots of crashes, blasts and shouts… the bad guy looses… he he he
Nicolas Cage is as cool as ever… watch out for him.

The SIEGE (***)
*ing Denzel Washington, Annette Bening & Bruce Willis
Another action packed thriller… I had seen this movie long back; it was good fun watching it again.
Denzel Washington is terrific, Bruce Willis has a small part but impressive… plays a negative role… overall a nice package.

I know my coming week is going to be very busy with late night workings, so compensating for it.
But still my dream is to watch 4 movies a day (all shows)… and I believe that dreams do come true.

Well just 2 weeks back , i actually ended up seeing 4 movies in a day - Bunty Aur Babli , Sahakar , Dus & Parineeta . The only difference being , i saw all of them on my Comp ;)

heyyy Puneet...what I said was true abt ITCC...u'll see him abusing ppl everywhere. He's a bloke from Indiatimes chat site...hates few chatters there n he started a blog writing crap abt them including me...he's real nasty. Well, dun just take my word, u observe him n see. Why he hates me is that I have blasted him many times in the open becos he's just a number one jerk :)

Yep he uses our IDs (blog ID) sometimes to leave humiliating comments in my friends' blogs. I suspect why he's here is that he knew u n I r good friends now. He does that each time I make friends with someone new...but he keeps failing big time lolz!Anyways u take care n u should keep n eye on anything out of the ordinary.

aww so ur on my side by deafult? hehehe...I like that, so sweet! We have had some highly flirtish sessions going on ha :):)! hugggz n muahhhz mmmm...I really enjoy reading ur replies to me ;-)
